2 festival acceptances for Junior

I'm very proud that Junior, the short film I produced last summer in Brownwood, TX, has been accepted to two film festivals this summer: Rural Route Film Festival and Crested Butte Reel Fest.

The Rural Route festival is at the end of July at the Anthology Film Archives in New York. We'll definitely be in attendance for that one. The Crested Butte festival is a shorts festival in Colorado in August -- unfortunately, it conflicts with our vacation so we won't attend the screening.

I'm very proud of the work Allison and the cast and crew did on Junior, so it's great to get it out there in front of audiences.

If you've been to the Junior web site before, definitely check the new Stills section!

new guitar

After thinking about it for a long time, I got a new electric guitar over the weekend. I'm now the proud owner of a new Gibson Les Paul Classic, in the beautiful Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish.

It's a beautiful guitar, and it sounds amazing. It's going to be hard to pick up the old Strat with the Les Paul sitting there. I took a few pictures.
